Let the Show begin!
- 2.00pm Gates open!
- Under 16 Fancy Dress Parade in the Orchard – prizes for most interesting costume, and runner-up. Just come along in your best fancy dress. FREE entry into the competition!
Afternoon 2.30 to 6.00pm
Entry to the Show for adults £4, under 16s free
- 2:30pm: Official Opening of the Show by Claire Carter of BBC Radio Somerset
- See all the Competition entries covering a wide range of classes – home grown fruit, vegetables and flowers, arts and crafts, food and beverages
- Throughout the afternoon enjoy a full programme of events, stalls and activities for all the family, including Pirate Treasure Hunt, face painting, games, and arts & crafts.
- Tea, coffee, squash and delicious cakes on sale during the afternoon
- 3pm: Companion Dog Show – bring your (well behaved!) dog and enter him/her into the Dog Show. There is a separate entry fee for this fun Competition.
- 5pm: ‘The Big Dig’ – Ted’s Taters in a Tub Competition – see who can grow the most potatoes in a container!
- 5:30pm: Presentation of cups and trophies for flowers, plants, produce, arts and crafts and following the prize giving the afternoon will continue into the evening with music in the marquee. So don’t go away!
6.00pm onwards – Evening Events
- 6-7pm: Happy Hour at the Green Man and music from the multi- talented Joe Strouzer, followed by the amazing SWAMP STOMP STRING BAND in the marquee.
- Entertainment: includes Tug-o-War and the Human Fruit Machine!
- Delicious hot food on sale throughout the day and evening, including vegetarian options.
- Ethic Street Pizza Company will provide pizzas from their mobile wood fired oven.
The Green Man licensed Bar will be open throughout the Show
