Next show Saturday 4th September 2027

The 2026 Theale Show on 5th September was huge success. Helped by kind weather, we had a great afternoon, with loads of visitors, from young families as well as oldies, lots of excited children playing games and enjoying a richly entertaining dog show.

Next year there is definitely a vacancy for a star owner looking like their dog (Matching bows, hats and glasses please)! and we had excellent number of produce entries despite a very challenging growing season!

This has to be the friendliest show around, mixing tradition with family fun for all. Just under 100 people entered at least one of the classes, and 30 (closely contested!) silver cups were awarded, of which 7 went to under 16’s.

It’s a real village event, and countless volunteers worked hard preparing the orchard, setting the show out, making teas, sorting the parking and front desk and much more – thanks to all of them.

We’re very hopeful that everyone will be inspired by this year’s entries and that it will encourage lots of new would-be entrants to come and try their hand at picking up a prize…

Fingers crossed for an equally successful 2027, and we will look forward to seeing you on Saturday 4th September 2027!

Theale Show – always on the first Saturday of September, every year since 1944 !
